Rare Honey Moon

honey moonWe had a honey moon here last week. It was massive, and covered in hazy shades of cream, wheat and lemon.

This one was also called a “strawberry moon” after ancient Native American harvest lore.

At twilight, the giant celestial pearl turned pink, as if someone used a paintbrush and water to smear the blue sky into white and added some color from the pink grapefruit sunset we had that night.

It was truly breathtaking.
